Harry is a data architect who retired from Dell in 2003. A top talent who always delivers, he is highly sought-after by the client. Harry works on a project basis and races Corvettes in the senior class for the rest of the year. He lives in Florida.
Ray has been an independent consultant for the last 7 years, focusing on process redesign, IT requirements, and project management. He has completed 2 projects with InterSys and is now beginning a third project. Ray is on-site whenever required, but spends the rest of his time working from his condo in Boston or his home on Cape Cod.
David is an Oracle Team Leader based in Beijing, China. He has been leading a team of Oracle and .Net Developers in a staff augmentation engagement for an Austin-based manufacturing client. He works directly with the client manager and with other InterSys consultants depending on the project need.
Mindy is an Austin-based Senior .Net / SQL Server developer working on a business intelligence application for a fortune 500 technology company in Austin. Mindy was a permanent employee most of her career but switched last year to working as a consultant on a project basis. She appreciates the focus on deliverables and time off between projects that comes with being a project-based consultant.
David is a Project Manager who worked on several clients’ engagements with InterSys throughout 2006. Today, David is a permanent employee of the client , leading part of the SOX compliance efforts in the IT space. Though he had been an independent contractor for several years, he decided to continue his career with this client. We supported his effort.

J.R. Carter (CEO, Principal Consultant and Key Account Manager)
J.R. has 13 years experience developing IT solutions. As an IT leader at Dell, Inc from 1996 to 2002, he played a key role in creating Dell’s formidable global data warehousing and metrics capability and in establishing Dell’s offshore development center in Moscow, Russia. He began working with InterSys Consulting as an independent consultant in 2004 and joined the company as CEO in 2005.
From 2004 to 2007 J.R. was an instructor in Stanford University’s Advanced Project Manager Program, delivering 3 day workshops on Portfolio Management, Converting Strategy into Action and Managing Global Complex Programs.
Based in Austin, J.R. is on the board of directors of EMS software provider and InterSys client, ESO Solutions, Inc. He volunteers as a Mentor at Austin Partners in Education.
Anwar P. Payyoorayil (Principal Consultant and Managing Partner of Kochi, India based Development Center)
Anwar is a highly respected technical architect and the managing partner for the development center in Kochi, India. Anwar has over twelve years of experience in the software industry. A graduate from the University of Oklahoma with an M S in Computer Science, Anwar has worked with multiple companies in the US, Qatar and India. He spent five years at Dell in Austin TX, working on a variety of technologies including multi-terabyte databases, Microsoft technologies, Linux and Ab-Initio. He splits his time between Kochi, India and Qatar, where he lives with his wife, a six year old daughter and a year-and-half old son.
